Page 112 – Little Scamp
Did you notice what Lewis is holding?! Shoving past the Sheriff earlier was a distraction while she picked his pocket. Return to this locale on Monday next for more exciting political repartee.
Can’t wait for the next page?

Well, well, well. Look who considers himself to be Heir Apparent. How appropriately smug the conniving, treacherous conspirator is. 🙁
I wonder if Jane will finally have something to say, now. 🙂
Jane could grunt some angry noises. She might have trouble speaking until she gets her voice back. 😀
you have to kind of feel bad for nickenberry. he went to all the trouble of concocting his treasonous plot to get rid of the queen, and now he doesn’t get to use it. incidentally, i wonder if he was behind that attack when jane got dumped out of the boat.
c’mon queen, you’re to cool to abdicate!
Hmm, it does seem suspicious that the city guard couldn’t protect the queen at the parade. And that her advisers keep having accidents (like Jane’s mom in the previous book). And that the population’s unrest is only being inflamed. And troops were placed on the border to deter invasion (well away from the capitol). Pure coincidence, I’m sure.
Oh please don’t give the job to this tool. For the love of all that’s holy, please humiliate him in front of everyone by giving the job to somebody else.
Also, looks like Jane FINALLY got the darned thing back.
HA! This wins today’s internet.
And the one who took the necklace returns it. I’m a sucker for symmetry. 🙂 That old necklace will probably come in handy, too.
Hey, not fair awarding internets until I post my comment!
I knew Lewis could outsmart the Sheriff. Go, girl, you are a respected scamp!
I have a feeling the Queen is also up to something…
😀 The queen might have a plot twist up her sleeve. A hippo sized plot twist.
