I expect no less from Twins. Only they would be cruel enough to inflict such a pun upon an unknowing populous. I’d wager they’re the true villains of the third book, some ancient Egyptian duality seeking to end the miserable existence of humanity by crushing it beneath their collected heel.

The next villain is the giant punguin, an evil creature who tortures it’s victims with painful jokes and fishy puns.
Awww, that’s one heartwarming moment in an arc that’s been more than a little heartbreaking, and well-deserved by poor Jane.
