Looking around she’s shocked to notice anti-monarchy propaganda tucked everywhere. JANE Ripping a poster in half. Tell your boss I don’t consort with terrorists! She leaves the hideout carrying her old dress. Harriet follows. She stalks down the street and past an alley where two figures can be seen in silhouette. JANE Under her breath as she marches. I’ll surprise Simza by myself. The look on her face when she… GUARD 1 STAND WHERE YOU ARE!
How much of her strength does she have left, without the amulet? Jane can still kick down a metal fence, but surviving a bullet is another thing entirely. This doesn’t look good for her…
She’s still got some tricks up her sleeve. Plus, that type of sheet metal isn’t very heavy duty. Most adults would bend it with a good kick. But, a bullet would be serious.

Lewis was revealed to be a girl a few pages back. She was probably getting paid to put up illegal posters all over the city, something a sneak-thief would be good at. 🙂
I am aware. I merely figured this was a gender identity thing, rather than a subterfuge one. Just trying to be sensitive. 😛
Ah, thank you. 🙂 Lewis identifies as female, but prefers to dress in men’s clothes. She lets others mis-gender her when it suits her needs.
Pfft, she can’t win. Everyone’s the hammer today and she’s the nail.
She’s like the ball in a pinball machine. Like the mole in a whack-a-mole game.
