Well, so far we’ve learned that he didn’t like getting stabbed. It’s a start.
I was confused at first. I thought she was talking in the last panel and that he had gone back to being dead. But now that I read it again, it looks like he’s the one saying “oh bother.”
I love that first panel. But that wall, to the left-is it tilting? Hidden passage?
Yep, the doc is saying, “Oh bother” to being dead. I have a weird sense of humor. But, no secret passages, just poor rendering on my part.
If resurrecting a chickadee drained her, what will bringing back an adult human do to her?
I saw your comic’s name appear on Groovy, Kinda’s link section, and I very much like what I’ve found here–keep it up. 🙂
Thanks for checking out the comic, Delta-V! I hope you’ll be back soon for more. The next page comes out on Monday and secrets will be revealed. 🙂
Heh, I’ll wait. I wasn’t actually asking for a spoiler, it was just my cryptic way of letting you know I’d read the Archives, and was paying attention. 😀
Watch out for that Delta guy. I hear he’s a great fan of webcomics and leaves lots of nice comments. 😉 Nice to see you over here!
I love that the doctor’s first reaction to being brought back from the dead is “Oh Bother!” Such a nuisance to be murdered! Or is he just upset that his favorite shirt is ruined?
Haha, the doc is bummed about all of the above. Is it bad that I hear that phrase in my head in Whinnie the Pooh’s voice?
“Silly old bear! You’ve gone and got yourself all cut up! Whatever will Kanga say about the washing?”
I love the middle four panels, where her height and posturing reflect her mental readiness/bravery, and sudden subsequent doubt.
Thanks, Aero. I can’t seem to do too many serious panels without some type of gag, like “Do I really have to touch the nasty dead man?” 🙂
