Wow, Andy, you really kicked up your shading with this one. That’s beautiful. Those streets (I love the panorama of the first three) are so moody.
And, hey! It’s Madame Simza! I’m sure her shop escaped destruction because the looters were afraid that she’d “curse” them.
Thanks, these scenes really called out for more atmosphere. Like a pterosaur in the night. I’m REALLY looking forward to posting the next two pages. 🙂
Jane wasn’t at her best when she made the pterosaur construct, so it’s a little defective. I’m sure you’re right about it’s natural mental capacity, too. 😀 Harriet was also Jane’s first resurrection, so they have a special bond there.

Much becomes clearer, but I’m still a bit bemused as to why Jane has so little influence over Jabberwocky, since Harriet responds so readily.
Is it that a pterosaur has less mental capacity than a chickadee, or is it the artificial nature of the construct?

I’m sure they’ll talk things out live civilized people and come to a peaceful agreement.
*cough*
They sit down for a tete-a-tete, until Simza tries to serve cold tea. Jane demands satisfaction, and they’re right back where they started.
Impulsive Jane, impulsive. Well, at least she found Simza’s place.
I hope Lewis manages to control the Jabberwocky before seh breaks a leg or something.
Impulsive is Jane’s middle name. 🙂
You gotta throw the rock through the window, that’ll really get her attention.
🙂 That’s what she was aiming for, but missed.
