Get that amulet then make a new undead buddy.
’cause let’s be honest here, Jane isn’t one to know first aid for bullet wounds at this point in time anyways, just out of a “coma” of a few years and all that.
She doesn’t need to know first aid–she simply heals (Vol 2, Pp. 64 – 65).
Delta-V, you are my new encyclopedia d’mummyverse, in case I forget what has happened before. But yes, Jane could try to heal Lewis… if she can get to her in time.
I don’t think an undead Lewis would be a good idea though, revived people may or may not come back exactly the same as they were. *wink wink*
*Sigh* After earlier denigrating Jane’s sense of self-preservation, Lewis brings a knife to a gun fight? O.o
Um, is Jabberwocky still galumphing along somewhere?
Yes, that was pretty reckless of Lewis. But who’d think she’d shoot first and ask questions later? Undersheriff Wrenn could use wolverine’s motto, “I’m very good at what I do, but what I do isn’t very nice.” 🙁
I’m betting that Lewis is a lot smarter than that.
She wouldn’t bring a knife to a gunfight. She’d be on the roof, dropping paving stones on cops instead.
I think she’s drawing fire (with some sort of protection) in order to distract people from an incoming Jabberwocky.
At least, that’s what I hope. I love Lewis, and I would hate to see her hurt.
And DAMN, those spotlights in the background are a wonderful effect, Andy.
Umm… well, you see… (sob) I’m sorry!!!
One must wonder where the well-bred Jane learned language like that…
None of her family are sailors, nurses or teachers so who knows. 😉
How many times is Jane going to get shot at in one day? I swear she’s trying to set a world record.
Oh wait, I’m an idiot. Somebody else was being shot at, weren’t they? Either way, it doesn’t bode well.
All the bodes are not well. 🙁
Have you done something new with your lights and shadows the last few pages? Cause it looks really good. (Suggesting it looked anything but stellar before, which is a clear fallacy.)
You noticed! 😀 For the night scenes I’ve been adding a shadows and highlights over the flat color fills to give it a moody atmosphere. Plus a few gradients here and there. I really like it, too, so I may keep it once we’re back in full light. But, it does make the pages take longer to finish.
Lewiiiis!
Is the young rascal going to make the ultimate sacrifice?
Where is Jabberwocky???
