Ah Jane! Witty as ever. Jane’s dad seems like such a good guy, helping Dr. Grypen get back on his feet. Of course, now I’ll be eternally suspicious that Dr. Grypen is a villain.
I don’t know what you mean, Dr. Grypen is a pitiful sad sack trying to use his superior brain and skills for the betterment of society. 😀 He’s not a mad scientist, he’s just grouchy.
Oddly, Jane’s dad didn’t originally make an appearance in this story, but he needed to show up. So expect some father/daughter moments at some point.
It looks as if the accident affected his eyes as well. That means it was probably a chemical cloud of some kind. He’s fortunate to be alive.
The garters people are wearing to keep their sleeves out of moving machinery are a nice touch. 🙂
