Production Notes
As you can see from the original outline, the story has already veered off course. This time around I used Trello to block out the main plot point, which was perfect for my workflow. And it was free. The main downside is that the free version won’t export your cards in a usable format, like Word.
It always pays to watch where you are putting your claws. Situational awareness isn’t just for the professional trouble-fighters.
People who speak blithely if taking candy from the younger set have likely never attempted the process. The theft alarm can be deafening. 🙂
I want to know who’s giving candy to those babies?! These brutes should be applauded for saving those babies from a choking hazard.
I’ll have to check out Trello. Very cool!
It’s worth a trial run. I wanted something that was as flexible as physical note cards.
a right rum bob? sounds good. how do you make one?
p. s. will jane rethink the bird motif now? or just have pigeon pie for dinner?
Maybe her secret super attack could be throwing a pie at the bad guys. I mean, who’s scared of a little pie, right? But inside is a flock of angry blackbirds. Like in the old nursery rhyme.
A good reminded that a “normally” raised teenager, however plucky and abnormal, can’t just pick up superhero work and stealth immediately.
Ain’t that the truth. Whatever her plan of attack was, it “flew away” on the field of battle.
Harriet wouldn’t have given her away so easily! Just goes to show that unsuitability of the common pigeon as a sidekick.
Jane is in trouble.
Well, she is disguised as a bird. All she has to do is flap her arms and kaw, and the ne’er-do-wells will be none the wiser.
Nobody up here except us birds. I’m sure she’ll go unnoticed and everything will be a-ok.
“Roll for stealth.”
“Cripes. Nat 1.”
“You step on a dove’s tail. It lets out a sound like the Looney Toons roadrunner and you’re immediately swarmed by a flock of noisy doves that alerts everyone in the vicinity of your presence.”
“Was it really necessary to go into that much detail?”
“Quit asking dumb questions and roll for initiative.”
😀 Haha! Perfect.
Jane might want to melt down those accursed dice by the time this chapter is over.
