Page 25 – An Approved Charade
Mr. Ghost doesn’t seem to be “handling” the situation seriously.
Could this be his downfall?
Original Script
MADAM Theatrically My poor dear, you are heavily burdened. Gestures towards the doorway. I sense a cold presence has shadowed you into the room. Ghost is standing right behind Madam looking incredulous. JANE Waves her food at her father You approve of this charade? DAD Well, um. It cannot hurt to try. You have not been yourself lately. MOM Please, Jane? Ghost is putting his hand through part of Madame’s costume, who cannot see him. JANE Angrily Yes. It cannot hurt to try.
More like a chance for Mr. Ghost and Ms Possessed to have some fun together at everyone else’s expense.
Jane may be mad at Sir Tyree, but I bet her mischievous nature isn’t gonna let this opportunity go by!
Mope or mischief?
It’s a very tough choice. 🙂
I’m gonna say it _can_ hurt to try!
But, hopefully entertaining.
It looks like Sir Ezra likes what he sees.
LOL, it does look like he’s checking out her ass. Oops. Someone on the Tapastic page asked if Sir Mix-a-Lot cannot tell a lie then is he a ghost too. It appears Sir Ezra is also an admirer of well proportioned posteriors.
As long as we’re going there, panel 4 looks like her dad wanted to hire her for her “great tracts of…land.”
Every panel is full of wild innuendo.
how can jane keep a straight face with a ghost clowning the oblivious ‘medium’?
He physically assaulted her, so she’s pretty mad at him.
She most be good, otherwise she’d never be allowed into this house dressed like that
Dress for the job you want, not the job you have.
Um, has no one elucidated to Jane the concept of “Famous Last Words”?
It’ll be on her epitaph. Though, as an undead citizen that may never occur.
I’m kind of surprised the utterly humorous Sir Tyree is actually screwing around in this scene, but it’s delightful to watch nonetheless.
*humorless* I can’t spell.
He’s conducting an experiment; testing his hypothesis. Pure science is no laughing matter!
Yup, this starts out pretty much as expected. Sir Ezra is going to be running cirlces around this woman. In as much as he runs, I guess. I imagine he rather “strides with purpose.”
What an excellent day for an exorcism.
