Original Script
MOM Wonderful! Jane, how do you feel? JANE Frowning. She is [REDACTED] Velvety. If you’ll excuse me? Jane leaves the room. MOM Thank you, Madame Simza. You have released a great weight from our home. Whatever your normal fee, I will gladly double it. MADAME Bunkum. I cannot accept recompense for my services. Elbowing Mr. Webb Money is the foundation of evil. Eh? MOM Surely I can offer you a coffee then? MADAME If that I could. But, my mêlées against these demons never ends. I bid you both a good ev’en. Boy, my bag.
yep. jane’s amulet is missing and all manner of things could have found their way into that bag in the dark. a quick exit is much more desirable than a few more coins.
That’s why you can’t trust hokum-slingers.
And here I thought I was being soo sneaky about her lack of a necklace in this page. 🙂 Good eye, Anatman!
I imagine this is going to come back…to haunt her.
Yes, I just went there.
That’s the spirit!
Oh what a phony
Hehe, she was a lot fun to write and draw.
Money may be the foundation of all evil, but there are advantages to not sleeping outside in the rain, and somehow I think the ways Madame Simza has reached these advantages aren’t much more honorable.
She must have been fun, though for some reason what draws my eye is that her assistant shows signs of vitiligo.
