Page 96 – Snagged, Sealed and Shipped
Caged like a wild beast.
So much for visiting the Queen and pleading the people’s case. Looks like Jane’s on her way to Phantom Rock Prison.

Awesome!
Man, some help Jane’s friends have been. I wonder if her parents will get wind of this and bail her out.
Without her amulet she’s not going anywhere anytime soon.
Her bail is going to be expensive: truancy, unlawful assembly, resisting arrest, trespassing, assaulting several officers, and possibly treason.
Apparently touching is necessary for healing or re-animating but not judging. Jane wasn’t touching the assassin whose soul she judged (Vol. 1, Page 85). I fancy, were she stronger, the ruffians would have had nasty surprises. ^^
Darn, I forget that she didn’t actually touch the assassin. Hmmm. Oh well. It still works out: judging is “taking” and occurs in the spirit world, and healing is “giving” in the physical world. And it works for other (spoiler) reasons. 😀
there is a sandwich chain called blimpy subs. that airboat brought it to mind. in this world, i can see them having actual blimpy subs. people see the blimp and are ready to defend against it, but it is actually connected to a submarine below and theynever see the torpedo coming.
With such a setup, who is towing whom? Is the sub pulling the blimp or is the blimp dragging the sub? 🙂 Which isn’t the case with this prisoner transport ship, but it’s an interesting design idea.
